NewsApril 20, 2003 The carnage is cleaned up! All the stuff that I broke in reworking the code for display engine support should be working again. The code from CVS should now compile (relatively) cleanly and be just as functional as it was at the last file release.
April 8, 2003 File release! Iron Hells 1.0 alpha 4 has been released. It compiles and runs on Mac OS X and Linux.
March 24, 2003 File release! Iron Hells 1.0 alpha 3 has been released. It compiles and runs on Mac OS X and Linux. The game is getting close to being playable, even with a bunch of missing or incomplete graphics! Some of the overlays are also finished.
March 19, 2003 File release! Iron Hells 1.0 alpha 2 has been released. It compiles and runs on Mac OS X and Linux.
March 7, 2003 First file release! Iron Hells 1.0 alpha 1 has been released. It compiles and runs on Mac OS X and Linux. The game is not playable yet, but so far it demonstrates the interaction between the rendering engine and the game engine.
February 26, 2003 The project has resumed! I've been working for the last couple weeks on writing a new SDL-based rendering engine on top of the Vanilla Angband code. The code has been committed to CVS, and is mostly operational. For details, see the Development page. |
